Last-Minute Gifts For Stamp Collectors

The Stamp Collecting Report, I'm Lloyd de Vries. 

It's hard to pick a gift for a specialist, but here are some fairly safe bets that you can 
still get in time for Christmas.

How about a subscription to a newspaper? For hard-core collectors, there's Linn's Stamp News, 
published weekly. Linn's -- spelled L-I-N-N-S -- has both a Web site and a toll-free number. 
A little lighter is Stamp Collector, a bi-weekly, published by Krause -- K-R-A-U-S-E -- and 
Krause also has a Web site and toll-free number.

Scott Stamp Monthly and American Philatelist are both monthly magazines. Go to 
Scott-Online-dot-com or stamps-dot-org.

Bigger post offices should have The Postal Service Guide to U-S Stamps, as well as other gift
possibilities.

Then there's a PayPal gift certificate, for use on eBay. Stamp collectors are crazy about eBay. 
You can choose amounts from five dollars to two hundred.
