The Scott Stamp Catalogues are the dominant guides in this country for stamp collectors.

Charles Snee is the new catalogue editor. He joined the catalogue team four years ago,
after returning from a tour of duty in Afghanistan with the U-S Naval Reserve. The
four-year apprenticeship was helpful.

"I had to have that much time to understand how we at Scott do business, what it is
that we do."  :07

The Scott catalogues have no real competition in the U-S. The challenges come from
foreign publishers, and the parent company recognizes that.

"They are trying to do things digitally and online that we at Amos Press have to
respond to"  :07

Scott plans to release a catalogue app for mobile devices this year. And meanwhile
Snee is using his personal Facebook and Twitter accounts to reach a wider audience for
Scott.
