The U-S is welcoming its 44th president...and Barack Obama stamp collections.

Special Inauguration postmarks are being offered...in Washington,  Chicago, Honolulu 
-- his birthplace -- and, for Joe Biden, HIS home and birthplace. Some collectors will 
get these postmarks on special envelopes. 

There are already Barack Obama stamps from other countries, and eventually there will 
be one from the U-S, but not until he dies, which we hope won't be anytime soon. 

It's believed the Postal Service has stamp designs ready to go for every living former 
president when each dies. The Postal Service won't confirm this rather morbid fact. But 
that means there will soon be an Obama design in the vaults.

Every DECEASED president has been on a stamp. In fact, in 1938..there was a series of 
stamps, with George Washington on the one-cent, John Adams on the two, and so on.
